R.I.P Dear Utarians

Anyone who read the news might know that there is actually an incident that happened which cost the lives of 3 UTAR students in Kampar.

Those that are intrested to know more about the story can have a look at

UTAR students drowned

At here,I would like to offer my condolences to their parents. It hurt's so much when you get to know that someone that is close to you suddenly departs.I know the feeling because I got through it not long ago.

If some realised,my grandfather passed away during my study week last semester.I was then decided not to go back to hometown because it will actually took up my study time. And when my final exam finished,I went back hometown just to see my mother pass away the next day.Yeah, all my relatives told me that my mother was just waiting to have a look at me for the very last time. And what actually happened the day before my mother passed away?I didn't even talked to her for more than 20 sentences. This is the part which I'm really angry about myself of.

And to make it more worst,I get to know that my mother actually planned to cook my favourite dishes and bring it over to Kampar and celebrate with me.Imagine that. From Penang to Kampar. My father actually did not agree to it because of my mother's condition then.So this is another part where it touches my heart.

So what did my mother left me with?A going to be cyber cafe counter brother and going to be lala mui sister.I did told my father that once I come out working,I will support my sister schooling but looking at what is going on at the house,I guess I would be happy that she is not kicked from the school.Brother goes school at morning and sister plays computer.Sister goes to school at afternoon and brother plays computer. What would be the ending?I guess my prediction might be true after all.

That day,I asked my brother "When are you going to study?" and what's the reply?"After you went back to UTAR".My goodness,I'm at house and I see you play computer everyday and you tell me that you are going to study once I head back to Kampar?Utter nonsense.Since then,I did not talked to my brother.I wonder how long will this goes.I don't care if I don't talk to him anyway because I won't be at home all the time.Kampar now seems to be my new home and I think I'm starting to like this town, minus the food, shoping complexes and cinemas of course.

Do I look happy to you?I might be but will I keep everything inside of me?Every chances of it. Hmm,I wonder which would it be?

Guess and win 20% of the amount

I guess I've been not blogging for quite a time.Blames all to the short semester I'm having.I'm having headache with it.Don't know what happened but I started to sleep at 1-2 am compared to last time 4-5am.Weird.

Anyway, before I start to blog again,I would like to hold a small guessing game. All you needed to do is guess the amount in my piggy bank and the one who got correct will get 20% of the amount.I know it's a small sum to all of you but hey,I'm doing it for the sake of fun.Everyone would get 2 chances to guess and by 4th of November,I will count the money and post the result on the next day.Winner will then be notified.Anyone are invited to take part.Just leave the answer in the comment box with your blog link.

You might be thinking, hey this guy must be lying or tries to scam but hey,do I get anything from it?All you needed to do is just guess. No harm done isn't it?I'll leave this to you readers to believe me or not.

Front View

Side View

Back View

So the pictures is on top.In case anyone missed the rules,it's simple.

1)Malaysian
2)Only 2 guesses.Answers are final.
3)Drop your answer into the comment box,not chat box unless you want a link exchange.
4)Do put in your blog link as well so I can notify you if your guesses are correct.
5)Answers that are same is allowed.

For now,the winner will only be decided if he/she guesses the exact amount of the money in it.If there is more 30 participants, winner will be decided with the nearest guesses if there is no person with the exact amount. If there is 2 winners with the same amount,20% will be divided among two of the winners.

So good luck dear readers.

You know how to bribe or not?

Just a quick post to some of my frequent readers as I don't have the mood to blog yet.

So do you know how to bribe?Fret not.Now I will show you a video clip on ways to bribe.Don't only watch ok?Must practice at outside a...hahaha..

In my opinion, this is a hilarious video and credits should go to Woo Ming Jin as he is the director for this short video.

Got to go for now.I'll post more of my blog post when I'm back to Kampar.

Lil Updates...

Talk about my life huh..4 exams down and 1 to go which will be on Monday.Plus with no tips at all means I need to read the whole book and I got just 1 day to do it(since now is Sunday). As usual,my mind is not at the exam right now.Lot's of things are going through my mind such as holidays, get together with friends, hometown foods and shopping.I only shop for DVD games LOL.

Will be at hometown for 2 weeks and then,I'll need to come back to Kampar for a short semester which is not short to me.The name is short but the content is equals to a long semester. Having 2 class + 2 tutorials a week is madness. It will be just the same like a long semester but now they crammed everything in 7 weeks. It means everything needs to be doubled.

In a blink of eye,1 semester passed again. The friends that I got to know now,the friends that I stick with is a blessing to me although some may have other ideas but heck who cares.I'm not born to explain to you unless you ask me.Some plans are in mind right now and I can't wait for it. Having a steamboat with my course mates as 2 of them are having a earlier birthday celebration.Gosh,I had steamboats for quite a times on this semester.I promised my readers that this time, this time I will capture the photos and load it up on this blog of mine. Most of the time you can only see words and no pictures. It makes my blog dull =(

Anyway, there is sound from the toilet downstairs just now.Tennee asked me to go down together to check it out.I did not notice all the while since I was wearing a headphone with music blasting my poor ears.Went down and did a check and found nothing so I just closed the toilet door.Soon, the sound came again. It was around 5 something on the morning. So this time,I go with the spray and spray the whole toilet.Until now,no sound is heard lol.

There were also a lot of competition organized by Nuffnang that I would like to join but it seems I'm not creative enough and there is no ideas going through my mind.

Alright, signing off for now and will update it on Tuesday with lotsa pictures.=)

Its Krrunch Time, Get Playful!!!

My theme for the contest is Krrunch Time at School. How many ways are there to eat pringles? To me,there is 2 ways to eat pringles.

1)Munching it as hard as I could to make the noise

2)Quietly munch to escape unnecessary attention

So everyone knows school life is quite boring, especially when you are in the class with the teacher mumbling alien language to you(Except the co-ex school where you can stare at the girl all day long). And what is school life for?Study hard or having Krrunch most of the time and enjoy?I don't know about you but I would pick up the second option which is to have krrunch. And what teenagers like to do?Challenges of course!!

So what do we challenge with?Pringles comes into mind!!!We had a challenge which is to munch pringles as loud as we can and we must not be caught by the alien teaching in front.Soon,we had this munching war where both side will munch as loud as possible!!Isn't it krrunch?Of course there won't be any krrunch when you are caught by the teacher but this is what school live is all about. To have KRRUNCH!!!

So what are you waiting for?

It's Krrunch Time,get Playful!!!

The day he passed away...

At Sunday which is at 20th September,my younger brother sms me saying that my grandfather passed away.I was quite shocked and asked a few questions about it.I wanted to go back but if I go back,I won't have the time to study due to the travelling and I'm having an exam on Thursday.

I know some will say that grandfather is more important than exams but I just couldn't leave Kampar.Maybe it's because that I don't want to face the situation.Dad called me just now asking me whether will I come back or not.Replied no and he asked me about my life and exams that I am facing. Was kinda touched and tears came down from my eyes.

I talked to my cousin just now and just realized what happened in Penang. You see,my grandfather complained about back pain so my aunties took him for a medical check at hospital. The doctor told my aunties that my grandfather had lung cancer and can only survive for 3-6 months.Like what will happen in TVB drama, they keep it from my grandfather. And not even 1 month and my grandfather passed away.

Isn't it weird that most people do not appreciate someone until the person is gone?Recalling what you did for me since when I was small,it's priceless.

Since when I was small,

You took me for shopping every time I came over
Treat me with ice-creams
Take me to McD to buy Happy Meal
Watching football live together
Overnight and accompany you during Saturdays
Going for dim sum most of the Sundays
Secretly buying cigarettes for you
Protect me by you and Grandmother every time I got scolded

Relatives says you loved me the most, and I don't believe it.Now recalling back,I realized I was the only grandson that actually go through all of these with you.None of the other cousins are treated the way I was treated.

And I just want to let you know that how much I will always miss you.May you rest in peace,my beloved grandfather.

These days..

Hi guys,it's been long since I blog again.Well,I had exams this month so I was kinda busy surfing, not busy reading la...What had you think?Well my birthday was recently which is on 17th of September and I had a Statistic paper that day.

Keep remind myself not to be careless and checked the calculator's calculation twice.Everything went fine until I passed up my paper and realized I wrote the wrong value for the U-Test.The answer was opposite. There goes my 6 marks.

So after that I went back home. Some of my friends were there waiting for me to give me a surprises.Imagine that they are hiding in the staircases lol.So when I walk to the staircase the started to sing the birthday song for me with a birthday cake.I was quite shocked myself.

I would like to say thank you to all of you that planned this. It's been great knowing you guys. After cutting the cake,we went to KFC for lunch. They treated me a Dinner plate and also my fav chezzy wedges. No pictures are taken as we are busy gossiping hehe.

Anyway,I got 2 more papers to go and it will be holiday then!!!

King Schnauzer?

Heard of this name? It's actually a mix breed of King Charles Spaniel with Miniature Schnauzer.Actually I do not know about this breed until Angeline told me that her friend is putting up an adoption for the future puppies.Apparently her auntie's King Charles Spaniel became lover with Miniature Schnauzer and the puppies is expected to arrive on this world at the month of November.

Knowing how much I love dogs(I planed to have one after my studies),Angeline asked me whether do I want to adopt one.I do have one now but the dog is kinda big so I couldn't put it in my room.I'm also staying in a flat in my hometown so a big dog could not fit in.Plus my mother nagging and I'm gonna be dead.Father side won't be a problem because he loves dogs.I had a German Shepherd and Doberman last time as my pet lol.I still had the photos and every time I had a look at it,I will laugh because the dog is bigger than me.

Wanted to look for a toy or small breed dog.Her friend told me that it would be more than 5 kg and less than 10 kg.So now I am still estimating what will the dog size be.
So from there,I try to google about the bred and came up with few info's about it.

Picture taken from http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/k/kingschnauzer.htm.
That is the look of a King Schnauzer.

So anyone had experiences with this breed before and would like to share more information regarding this breed?

Beautiful Moon

It happened at 4/4/09 around 0100.I know it's kind of late to post it but still I want to share with all the readers here.It was breathtaking(for me).Pictures from my friend,Chin Eng the photographer.

I tried to use my phone camera to capture the photo and it took me few seconds that I realized I'm doing something impossible.Luckily,my friend had a DSLR camera with him all the time. There is actually colors on the line. From my view,it actually looks like a rainbow.Just that the rainbow is circling the moon.Nice scenery.

Anyone saw the moon too?

6 years for killing a 20 month baby? What happen to the world?

Saw this news not long ago.Laura Jane Vestuto,28,who laced her child's milk with crushed anti-depressants? Holy cow!!!Is the mother insane!!?And it's TEN TIMES for the safe adult dose of amitriptyline. How did the mother so 'clever' and came up with the idea just because the child cried in the middle of the night?

And best part?6 years in jail.No sweat huh?If I were the judge,I would had sentence her mother to jail for whole life.

More detailed coverage on the news at http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2627437/Baby-pills-mum-is-jailed-for-6yrs.html

R.I.P Renzo Hassan.

Where in Malaysia?

Where you can bath 2-3 times?Kampar is your answer!!And when I mention 2-3 times,I'm talking about 2-3 times per HOUR.Imagine how hot was that.Ok,maybe not like dessert but it's hot plus stuffy and you can sweat even when you sleep at the noon with 2 fans in the room.

My studies had been delayed day by day as my final exam is coming nearer. It's at this Friday. Also blame Dota for it.I'm addicted back.Luckily,I managed to touch up on my statistic.Kinda feel confident about the paper now. Thanks to Hsu Wai for teaching and explaining to me.You're now qualified to be a lecturer.Hahaha.

Went to UTAR today to check out the marks for midterm.Surprisingly, there is kind of a lot of students there.Guess that they still have lecture class going on due to the 1 week holiday of H1N1.Only managed to see Research as Counselling Skill's result are not out yet.Met Dr Lee while standing in front of her room.Talked to her awhile.

Night was still so hot till I went all the way to 7-11 to buy a pack of ice to make cold drinks.Feels better but still it's hot.Might go to TESCO to study if this keeps going on.At least there is free air cond in TESCO.Hehehe.

Until then,do visit for updates.

Degrees in 5 days!!Where to find!!?

If anyone of you read The Star newspaper on Sunday around last few weeks ago, they checked on a website offering degree, master and so on for a fee.Best thing is,you can get the certificate in 5 days time.Where to find this type of service!!?So easy then students no need to slug it out for years in public or private university.Just pay and sit in your house and wait for the cert to be mailed to you.

I find it interesting that there is still people who fall for this scam.Scam as in they provide you with a cert but it is not accredited by most of the countries. So what you want to do with the cert?Frame and hang it up and wait till you are old and tell grandmother stories to your grandson?Do note that it is not recognized by our country. So how cheap you ask??

Website had been highlighted black just to prevent more people to fall for the scam. Saw the price? The fees that you paid for your public or private uni can buy how many pieces of this "legal" cert lol Like that I wanted to stop from enrolling in UTAR and spend the tuition fees to get me a few doctorate cert(if it's real and recognized by our government)

The video testimonial by the clients there are probably their own cronies or they paid someone to do the talking for them. The website some more ask the viewers not to waste their time with a fake, replica or counterfeit degree, diploma or transcript. They assure that their certs are LEGAL.

And worse,The Star reporter found out that some high post people in Malaysia enlisted this cert as their academic qualification and not to mention there is also a politician who own this type of cert as well.

To those who thinks that there is actually "where got such big frog hop on the street" (translate into cantonese please),the truth is actually there is no free lunch here except when you are very lucky.Common sense will actually let you know that it's a fake.Or else why students and people want to spend most of the time studying for their degree and master or etc?

Anyway,I hope less people to fall into this trap since it was published in the newspaper weeks ago.

Celebrating Merdeka?

With most people opting to go back hometown for 3 days to celebrate Independence Day,I prefer to stay at Kampar.Heck people always asked me,"You don't miss your family? Why I never see you went back to your hometown?".What I always answered was that I'm not homesick and I do miss my family but to spend 2-3 hours on the highway just to meet them is not worth at all.Better just stay at Kampar and enjoy lol.

So I had dinner with Angeline,Mabel and Tennee at Kim Keong.Ordered Black Pepper Chicken and the dish was quite ok.The chicken was grilled rather than been fried.I always prefer it grilled because if the chicken was to be fried and then topped with black pepper sauce, what is the difference with Chicken Chop?Of course the sauce is different but other than that?Still the same =)

Sorry if the picture is not nice lol.The environment is quite dark for my phone to take a decent pic.We also wanted to order the "Ikan bali+sotong" but then there is no stingray left.So we decided to cancel the order.

Chit chat for 1-2 hour then we went back home.At 12am,which is the Independence Day, we went out to the porch to play some firecrackers. It was some leftover during CNY. Our dog was scared with the song.WTF,people walk by he barks but this sound already scared him until he do not dare to look to the outside lol.We went to Westlake soon and was greeted by lots of Mat Rempit. There are quite a lot people there.A mixture of students, families and also the residents from Kampar.Well even foreigner is there!!Tennee asked me,"What they got to do with our country's Independence Day?" haha..

Then of course there is also some incident happened. One of the rider fell down from the bike and as typical Malaysians,a lot of people went over. Not to help the guy but to laugh at him.We tried to stay away from there as we scared something happen later.Who knows?Another fight perhaps?

Later,we go Ghanny to yum cha.Meet Alvin there and we talked about Uni stuffs.Reached home around 3am and sleep at 4 something.

Happy Independence Day,Malaysia.

And I always heard about politics or peoples talking about ethnic problem Malaysia is facing. If you and I would recall, did we actually became so racist when we were in secondary school? For me I would say no.I still remember the times we had birthday surprises together, playing football together, hanging out and do a lot of stuffs teenagers do.Did we actually mind about the color of each other skins?NO.

It's true that some places there is still people who is racist but it doesn't mean everywhere is also people who is racist isn't it?And about the quota for the university slot, think carefully.Do we blame the government or do we blame the students?

To others that might said I am naive and is still studying and that I will know the reality when I start to work.Well sad to say,I worked for for at least 3-4 places and there is no racism at all, yet. Please do not generalize and if you don't like what you are reading, then just get off the blog will you?

And to some politicians, please stop playing racism stuffs. You were payed to work for us and not to talk cock here and there.I do not about others but I won't be falling for this.

Until then, enjoy your holiday and do drive safely when your holiday ends.

Ghost Festival

So it had came, the Ghost Festival of course.Every year,Chinese celebrate this event with prayers, foods and not to forget the 'koh tai' as well.It is considered as Ghost Festival as this is the time the Gate of Hell is open and spirits/ghosts are allowed to roam the earth for this period of time. For Chinese,we will then burn joss sticks and also papier-mache form of material items such as clothes, shoes, houses, watches and more to mention.

Ghost Festival is not QingMing as QingMing is only for the ancestors while Ghost Festival is for all the spirits. It is something like free for all lol.I still remember last semester when I was required to do an assignment regarding this topic.Did quite a research but unfortunately my computer suffers BSOD and was required to be formatted. The files in it was also deleted as well.

Anyway,I felt that it's more livelier in Penang where most of the places are build with stages for the girls to sing. The karaoke show is actually for the spirits and there will be empty chairs on the first row.It is actually for the spirits to sit and enjoy the performance. Not only spirits enjoy the performance but also the old uncles who waited and some to the extend of going to the back stage hoping to catch a glimpse of the performers changing clothes.

Still,we need to be careful during this time of month. It is not something to joke with.I'm going to list the Dont's during this Ghost Festival.

Dont's:

1)Do not go out late at night.
2)Do not step on or step over the remains of the joss sticks and stuffs that are burnt for the spirits.
3)Do not simply flash lights to any dark buildings or trees.
4)Do not seat on the seats assigned for the spirits.
5)Do not go near the sea at night.
6)Do not whistle during the night.

I could only think of these few now.Experiences wise?I experienced number 2 and 3 personally. Not that I was the one but it happened in front of my eyes.

Number 2:
I was still Standard 6 that time and there is this friend of mine who is at Standard 2.So while we are waiting for our school bus to come,he kicked an apple that was supposed to be for the spirits.Nothing happened until we reached the school when suddenly he fell down to the floor on his own. There is nothing bumpy that he might tripped on.

Number 3:
We were having a 3 days 2 night camp at school and there is this favorite game that I liked which is the 'Alien Hunt'.The condition to play this game is to play at midnight with the whole school lights shut down.So there is one junior group that did not heed our advices and started to torch the lights on the 2nd floor.Lo and behold, the whole group saw something and was forced to retired from the game.I still remember that the leader scold the junior like mad for playing a fool and now the whole group had the chances to saw it.

So guys and girls,I wish you luck this month and do not do unnecessary things that you do not need to do at night!!

To those who do not believe it,it's better to be safe than sorry isn't it?

Monday @ UTAR

Woke up 7.00am today in the morning and was thinking whether do I want to go for lecture class or not. Finally decided to go and pulled Angeline from her sleep as well. Wan Jie gave us a surprise when she give us those cute small soft toys.

I chosen the cow but then Jia Ying wanted it and we fight for a while before I decided to let it go.Instead I choose the blue elephant.Siong Chi chooses the pig,Li Mei chooses the rabbit,Angeline chooses the mouse and Hsu Wai was left with the hamster.I brought the Research Method text book to school because I thought I need to attend the 2 lectures class.Mana tau the lecturer finished teaching in 1 class. We had our lunch at Block B and we proceed to Block A to check on the bar list. Then we went to Block E's computer lab.Soon,I met Eric and 1 of my friend. He did not remember me until he saw Angeline lol.

Later at 1.45pm,Li Mei decided to skipped class so Hsu Wai and Siong Chi followed as well.I was preparing myself to meet my adviser at 2.30pm.Reach there quite early and saw at least 4-5 girls is in the room.So I waited until 2.30pm and I approach my adviser as I had made an appointment. My adviser asked me to wait for a while as he tries to settle his matter first. Then there is 1 bitch in the room asked my adviser to tell me to meet him another time.Waffak!!?So fucking selfish and I had made an appointment.Your consultation time was supposed to end at 2pm and you have the balls to ask my adviser to see me another time?Who do you think you are?And wait...I wonder how do you grow 2 balls below your crotch? Was quite pissed with the attitude of that girl.Niahma!!!Luckily my adviser told her that I had made quite alot of appointment with him and was not successful.Knn..if my adviser ask me to meet him another time,I sure diu the girl kau kau...WTF...So inconsiderate of you.Do you think you are the only one that needs consultation.Your time is over so just fuck off!!

After having the consultation,I went to have a haircut. Before that,I was wondering whether should I dye my hair or not. Then the hairstylist there told me it looks nicer if my hair is in color as my hair color is quite dark black. So yeah,a haircut+dye+wash+massage cost me RM 60.I consider it quite cheap lol.Don't know what my mother will said when I get back to Penang @.@

Skipping Classes...

Heard 1 of my housemate talking about getting bared from final exams due to lack of attendance in lecture and tutorial class. You see,we need to maintain 80% attendance or else we are bared. And when we are bared,we are required to write a letter of appeal and then go for an interview.Such a hectic thing to do don't you agree?I was kind of worried because this semester I skipped quite a lot of class. And I was already thinking of what reasons to say when I am required to write a letter.Blaming on the weather is kind of new reason isn't it lol.

And so I even count how much a lecture or tutorial class will cost us.It cost us around RM 23 per class and man...I think I skipped around 10 class or so which makes the university profits RM 230 lol...

Got to polish my presentation on tomorrow.Wish me luck.Until then...

When too much of pyschology...

When a person studies too much of psychology, suddenly the person will noticed a lot of things that it happening around them.It will in turn became scary because that person is able to reason out what and why others did this and that and also some will managed to differentiate truth and lies.Sometimes, this happen to me lol and believe me,it's a scary shyt.People wears a mask called persona to school everyday so that they can mingle around in society but then people like me sometimes see through their persona.Gosh.And then all those theories that I've learned came like nobody's business. And we will then started to explain about their behaviors, talking about their past childhood, their provinces of mind and those psychology stuffs. Not only me that should see it sometimes but also my friends who is also studying in this field.See?I'm not praising myself lol.

Anyway, now I liked Counseling more than Psychology lol.It would be a dream if I could go all the way till PhD but when will that happen?I wonder.

Why sad songs?

I faced this questions a lot.Friends kept asking me,"Why sad songs? You like to be emo is it?".Well, what I usually answer them would be "Because it's more meaningful".Yes,you read it correct.I felt that sad songs had more meaningful lyrics and meanings.I usually listen to sad songs to relieve myself from everything around me.

Some songs that I liked is Cha Jian Er Guo by Lee Sheng Jie,Yue Ding by Guang Liang and so on.And yes,I like oldies and this includes those English sad songs as well.I'm not really a person who chases new songs. It just happen that if I heard a song that is nice,I will ask my friends or relatives regarding the song name and go back home to download it.

I believe throughout our daily life,we may had some sad feelings which is not expressed out.In psychological term,I think it is called unconscious. So the only way I let it out is to by stimulate it with sad songs.Every time after I break down listening to sad songs, I take a bath and will feel more better and fresh.Or maybe that's only me lol.

Anyway, like what I said during last post, lots of stuffs is really filling up my brain. It's so hard for me to be rational. And I was late for my adviser meeting.Guess what?He was no where to be found when I reach his room at 5.30pm.So heck,I waited for 10 minutes before I go back. And it started to rain too.

Lacking of sleep...

Thanks to the effect of Nescafe on Tuesday and then the next day going out until late midnight,I wasn't able to function properly in today's class.Missed the first lecture class but attended the second one.

"A person who loses one night’s sleep will generally be irritable and clumsy during the next day and will either become tired easily or speed up because of adrenalin. After missing two night’s sleep, a person will have problems concentrating and will begin to make mistakes on normal tasks. Three missed nights and a person will start to hallucinate and lose grasp of reality."

Taken from one of the website.Great.I'm now in the second day.And I'm having a presentation tomorrow. Will I start to hallucinate?Gosh.Just now was one of my lecturer's birthday.Happy Birthday Ms Chee =).Shouldn't mention the age lol.And when everyone was laughing because of some jokes, surprisingly I did not laugh. What happened?I can tell you I have no slight idea.Did Kampar environment changed me?I went to school today without much talking.I think I talk less than 10 sentences. That is so not me.I'm also do not know when will I start to behave like usual.Or will I not behave like usual anymore?

I also need to meet my UTAR adviser later at 5pm.Gosh.What do I wanted to consult?Should I consult him about the things I had in mind?I've been thinking a lot of stuffs lately.Thinking of stuffs that might not happen to myself.Did I think too much or is it my instinct that is guiding me to think?I was also quite unhappy with some particular stuffs.

Should stop now before I go with all the grandmother stories. Will update you all at night.

Turning into Vampire?O-wai....

Realized that I keep staying awake at night for these 2 months. Not that I took a nap at the afternoon or evening.I could stay awake until 6am and then wakes up at 10 to attend my lecture or tutorial class at 11.It's kind of weird and I don't know why.Is it due to the stress on the subjects that I am taking this semester? The thoughts of maintaining or pushing up my CGPA?I don't remember that I was like that for the previous semester. And not to mention I stay awake doing nothing except looking at the monitor of my laptop. If I was awake because of studying then it's fine but...

And the only times that I was awake at night was due to working at night shifts but that was like half year ago.

Well, humans are weird and not all behaviors could be explained logically. This applies to my dream last night.Angeline told me that I was having a nightmare and it makes it hard for her and my another room mate to have a peaceful sleep.End up she had to skip the class due to lack of sleep. You know when a patient in hospital pass away, the doctors will try to revive the patient's heartbeat by using the 'equipment' that is put on the chest which will make the chest kinda jump up?It happens to my body yesterday lol.

Funny thing is that I don't remember anything about dreaming at all.

Are you a Malaysian?

You know you are a malaysian when:

- You complain about the quality of the pirated DVD you just purchased. "What, RM10 for DVD5?! Aiyah, boss ... sound no good, cheaperlah ..."

- You're willing to consume sambal petai and durian and gladly suffer the bloating and wind-breaking incidents.

- You're exceedingly polite to the Mat Sallehs but you slag your own kind. "Hello, sir. Why don't you sit here, it's got the best view of the city skyline." But, "Aunty-ah, your table is over there next to the kitchen."

- You order Maggi goreng and fried chicken, complain about how oily the food is, and then proceed to finish it anyway.

- You love to talk about food. You're already thinking about what to have for dinner while eating lunch. "I'm stuffed. What shall we have for dinner?"

- You dive into a communal-style meal the moment the dish lands on the table only to hesitate at the last morsel of food on the serving dish. There are two possible explanations for this: the first is the pai seh (embarrassed) factor, while the other is the myth that the person who eats the last piece will be a spinster.

- You hit the accelerator the moment the first drop of rain hits your windshield. "Alamak, it's going to rain. Sure traffic jam one. I'd better drive faster."

- You seize the opportunity to make a U-turn anywhere ... especially where there is a sign telling you not to. Well, so long as the cops aren't in sight.

- You feel a burning desire to send text messages and even have the gall to give your friend a blow-by-blow account of the movie to your friend on the handphone during the screening of the movie. "Okay, now that girl Lizzie is impersonating an Italian singer; she so doesn't look Italian ..."

- You forsake your loved ones for the all-important four letter-word: S-A-L-E. "Sorry, mum, I can't take you to Aunt Mary's because I have to go to MidValley before the crowd." You?re also more than happy to be part of the insane traffic jam that forms around malls during weekends and sale periods.

- Reality shows Akademi Fantasia and Malaysian Idol dictate your social life. "What, no TV at the mamak? Count me out. I'm staying home. Rinie needs my support."

- You pepper every sentence with lah. "No-lah, I can't see you today-lah. I have to study-lah. You know-lah, the prison warden aka mak is watching me like a hawk"

- You fail to function normally without your daily dose of teh tarik and nasi lemak.

- You have owned at least one Proton in your lifetime. Cheap, cheap. That is until you start to make enough dough to buy that Honda you've been salivating over.

- You slow down at an accident site to take down the car number plate, but won't step out of your car to help the victim could be a robber!

- You'd rather park your car along the main road outside the mall, where there's a yellow line, rather than pay RM1 to park inside where there are adequate bays.

- You plead, bat your eyelids and relate a sob story to the officer at the town council office to let you off the hook (or reduce the amount considerably) for the fine you incurred when you parked your car on the double line.

- You make an appointment for 10am and conveniently show up a half hour late ? Malaysian time, what ...

- You pop open the wet tissue packet at the Chinese restaurant by squeezing the trapped air to the top of the packet before proceeding to smash your fist into it. The louder the pop the better.

- You greet your friend / neighbor / acquaintance on the street with "How are things?" or "Have you eaten?" or better yet, by stating the obvious: "Went to market ah?"

- Ramlee burger is the "piece de resistance" of your growing-up-years cuisine.

- You catch all major televised events at the mamak.

- You have roughly six meals a day (breakfast, mid-morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper). Then there's the snacking ? keropok ikan, pisang goreng, muruku, jam tarts and the like.

- You get the whole family dressed to the nines, jump into the car and head for the minister's open house and ask for styrofoam boxes and plastic bags to tar pau (take away) food.

- Your accent and language style vary according to the race of the person you are conversing with.

- You've got a friendly disposition. Smiles are abundant and your "Apa khabar?" is warm and sincere.

- You exclaim loudly how expensive everything is, even though the items may in fact be going for a steal. "Wah! So expensive, ah? Hak sei ngor (Scare me to death)!"

- You dig deep into your pockets to contribute to the latest appeal for donations in the newspapers.

- You "dis" our country all the time, but as soon as something good happens (like winning the Thomas Cup), you morph into a proud Malaysian.

- You never travel abroad without a bottle of chilli sauce, or sachets which you can sneak into restaurants.

Husband for Sale @ Husband Store

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates.

You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch .... You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids and are extremely good looking.

'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework.

'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!' Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

Industrial Training?

Industrial Training is the time where we are actually exposed to the working life outside.I may be still in Year 1 but I've already think about Year 3 where we need to go for Industrial Training for 3 months.Quite a friends of mine said they wanted to go back to their hometown. Some of the reasons is that it is near their place and living cost is cheaper too.

I even think as far as where do I want to apply for my Industrial Training. Was thinking of going for Genting but what does my course got to do with Hospitality. Most of my choices are either at Theme parks,Hotels or Hospitals taking care of the children.

I'm taking Bachelor of Degree(HONS) Psychology and was wondering whether will any of my choices pick me for my applications.I also prefer to work in an office.Maybe I'm too picky lol.I don't actually see any potential for myself to be in psychology field in future but I actually quite fond of Counseling.Just thinking of these makes my head go round and round.

Anyway,it's all about getting experiences from the working environment.Shouldn't worry too much of my future, yet.

H1N1 in UTAR?Good or Bad?

What is H1N1?H1N1 is quite a topic these days.H1N1 is originally called as 'Swine Flu' before it changed to H1N1.It's a mutation from four known strains of the influenza A virus.Symptoms of H1N1 includes fever, sore throat, body aches, coughs, headache, chills and fatigue. From the statistic of WHO,the ratio of death is 140:1

So it finally arrived in Malaysia on 13th of May.And slowly,it spreads. One by one, university was closed down for a week as a precaution.UUM,UTM,UiTM to be mentioned a few more was closed down for a week.So the question is,will Kampar been infected or not?

There is news that some students was infected with H1N1 but UTAR admin had assured us that they were quarantined. So the question,is it good or bad to have a week break?

Personally,I felt that there is pros and cons if there is a week break.Pros? No class means no presentation.Tension and stress might go down. But the cons would be this semester will be extended for 1 more week.Extra 1 week means more pressure. And not to mentioned we might have the chance to be infected.Either way,I felt that it would be better if we are not allowed to have a break.Imagine that if you got infected but you do not know. Then you went back to your family. There is chance that you will infect your family, isn't it?Best would be stay where you are now.

The way of H1N1 to be transmit to other people is by through coughs and sneezes or by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching the nose or mouth. So this means no kiss on the lips or french kiss as well lol.

Anyone who had some symptoms that I mentioned and is scared,it would be best to go to the General Hospital to have a check. No harm done. Please wear a mask too for safety measure regardless whether do we had the symptoms.

Last but not least,I'll pray for the safety to everyone in the world who got infected.

So near yet so far...

Just received the letter that I was expecting few weeks ago.It was during the Mind Festival 2009 in UTAR that I went and had a test on my IQ.Cost me RM 40 for 38 questions to be done in a specific time frame. You can get more info from http://www.malaysianmensa.org/. Was quite disappointed about it as I only need 2 more correct answer to be accepted into the society.

Test score of 140.Need 148 to pass >.< Examination can only be taken once a year.Guess nothing could change except that I can let it all out at here.Presentation went well at Tuesday.Only 4 people who is in the tutorial including our tutor. There was few hiccups but I'm glad that everything went well according to the plan.Final exam schedule is also out.Guess that this semester I should be aiming for B- then. It's quite hard when all the subjects that you are taking is quite the same.Still wondering when can I change my lazy and carefree attitude.Would love to change but there is no motivation at all.Maybe I should blame it on the weather and the boring life in Kampar.

And I was also wondering why do god makes us human so complicated? So that we won't be bored in this world?Do you have something in mind, dear god?

Presentations..

After all the rush on assignments, another part that I hate is the presentation part. No doubt that I'm not good in talking to the crowd and I tend to get nervous easily. There is 5 presentation to go.Five!!!How the hell I'm going to pass all that? Not to mention some are really tough to pass...Couldn't we just take our exams pretty please?I would prefer that lol...

Woke up early this morning to support Cunning Wo-Pig playing Netball at Sports Complex.End up her team got the champion.Congratulations.At least we stand there under the hot sun for something lol.

After the competition end,I went to TESCO together with friends.Just noticed that the stall that I was looking for merged with the first stall.Had my brunch there. And when it all boils down to shopping, girls are number one.Plus with discount?Fuiyo...

And congratulations to Cunning Dewgong. She finally dare to sit on a motorcycle.Guess that I need to pull myself through the presentations as well then =(

Dae Mien presents...

Said I wanted to introduce to my friends...I forgotten when we had this 'Cunning Family' name... Guess I'm too old to remember then =p

This my friend,is Cunning Hedgehog.Looks mysterious huh? She's from Kampar and she is the one that I usually find if I got lost or need anything in Kampar. My GPS.Lolx.A kind girl but do not look down on her because she is cunning!!!Smiles alot and knows how to joke.

And this is Cunning Cow who envolves into Cunning Dewgong.Don't be fooled by her looks too for she is...err...something I guess.Couldn't find the correct word to describe her.Her favourite food? Pink colour tupperware. She is a cute girl which is funny in a way.Well,if you know us then you will know how funny she could be XD

Another Cunning member is the girl on the right hand side with the specs,Cunning Rabbit who also envolve into Cunning Turtle.Don't ask me.I dunno why they like to envolve.Might be due to global warming.A very happy go lucky girl who is everyone's friend.Keeps smilling infront of people but god knows what is happening with her at the back.Wait...I know what is happening...Does that means that I am a god too??? XD

Cunning Dog.Nuff said. She's a girl with a tough attitude.Well, she's like a mother to us lol.Not that she is older than us to be our mother but she knows what she is doing for most of the times and usually the one who let us know what we need to do.We depend on her.So she's like a mother to us right?Right?

The girl beside the handsome guy,Cunning Wo-Pig.It's actually a Cunning Wolf but she decided to envolve.Throughout half way envolving, she got stucked. So she became Cunning Wo-Pig lols... A girl who is tall.Well, not that really tall but considered tall among girls.A girl who likes privacy but also can joke on times.A very humble girl I would say. She's my everytime 'mou liu' friend. Nudge and we'll know what happen next.

This is another part of the Cunning Family member.I think I will name her the unofficial cunning member as she did not officially enroll into our family.Codename:Cunning Cat.I dunno why but her 'meow' is kinda funny lol...A crazy girl with crazy attitude.I loved to be around her.

And last but not least,I'm going to show myself too...

Random Post

Looking back,I realized that it's been long since I update my blog.Well, apart from me being lazy, assignments is piling up and waiting for my brain to be overclocked. It's been up and down for me during this month.Had 2 mid term and there is 3 more staring at me and I need to pass up 3 assignments by this friday which is the 31st of July.Nothing much going on with my life thou.Apart from celebrating birthday with one of my friend,I've been very good by staying at home.

Dad,mum and my sister came over last 2 weeks ago.Apparently, mum is having some sort of medication at Ipoh so they decided to stop by.It hurts me so much to see my mum's condition. Before my semester start till now, she's been going through at least 6-8 chemotherapy. And it wasn't the first time.Dad called me yesterday.Asked me to call back or sms my mum once a while. I guess there is reason behind it because my dad never calls me unless there is something important.

Back to the topic,my dad bought 10 durians from Penang for me.Took 3 to Wan Jie's house to eat with friends.Gave 3 to Hsu Wai and eat 4 more with my roomates.

If I have been given a wish,I wish to go back during when I was in Form Six.Why?
Because I wanted to find the fella that says 'If you can go thru Form Six,university life is easier' and dew 9 that person!!!

Gonna introduce my friends/gang on the next post.Stay tune~

R.I.P Spider

Was having a few classes today. While I went to one of the tutorials which is at B211,we noticed that there is this spider in front of the class.Decided to take a picture of it.

We put a 50 cent coin beside it to actually let you all have a roughly idea on the size of it.It wasn't easy to do that and thanks to Siong Chi who actually managed to move the coin beside the spider. After we took pictures of it,the tutor came in so we actually went back to our seats and the spider went to the side of the room.

Since it was the first tutorial, the tutor asked us on what we would like to do.We just smile at her without actually giving her an answer. So she came to a conclusion that after taking our attendance,we can go back.We have another class later so we decided to stay in the room.Li Mei came up with an idea to actually catch the spider and release it into the wild.Tried to capture it using the plastic cup and didn't actually have a good catch on it.The spider came out from the cup and hell was loose.Pictures says a thousand words.

They actually climbed up to the chairs when the spider ran like a headless chicken. From the left is Angeline followed by Hsu Wai and Jia Ying.

Managed to caught it by Jun Keong.I think we put down the plastic cup too long and the spider was like suffocated.Didn't realised it at first until we put the spider outside. It did not move.Thinking that it needs time,we leaved the room.Didn't we know that the spider was dead until Jun Keong asked us to go back in to have a look.

Well,I just wanted to say sorry for the death and we don't mean it.In appreciating the spider, the next member who joined the cunning family will be the cunning spider ok?Rest in peace.

GSC,here I come!!!

Was planning to go for dim sum this morning but this Angeline overslept and so I had to cancel the plan..Had our brunch at Oldtown with Sin Mei at New World Park..The rendang is nice..yum yum... Too bad there is no pictures as my mouth is faster than my hand...Sin Mei recommended me a drink and I had to order an Ice Chocolate at the end because the drink was too bitter for me...But Sin Mei loves it...Angeline ordered Nasi Lemak and it was not bad...After that,we went to Gurney for movies...Reached at 3.15pm and I was planning to watch Sellout at 3pm..Sigh..Luckily we choose Angels & Demons because it was so nice...I loves all those mysteries stuffs and those movies where there is no ending...No ending means there will be more to come isn't it?While in the cinema, there was a few preview that caught my intrest which is Transformer and Night in the Museum 2...Was planning to watch Night at the Museum 2 at 11.45pm but remembered we wanted to watch together with other friends as well...So plan was canceled...Went back home after window shopping...I think I need to take more pictures now...My blog seems to be a lil bit dull now isn't it?

Spending Spree!!!

The next day I reach Penang,I actually met up with a seller at Prangin Mall to buy up his PSP... Price was RM 730...All was well till I play for 2 hours or more..The screen started to flickers and the images went blurry...Was really worried about the PSP and luckily, the seller refunded me the actual amount today...Was so happy...The whole night I was thinking what will the seller do...Because some doesn't want to take up the responsibilty and I'm happy and grateful that this seller did...Thanks Andy, appreciated much...I'd really like that PSP...

So today plan was to go for Red Box at 11am and catch a movie at 3pm..Turns out Tennee woke up late and we postponed Red Box to 12pm...Went to Prangin to get back the refund and then proceed to Gurney..So what do I do in Red Box?Eat and sleep la!!Or else you expect me to let everyone knows that I have a crow voice meh...Yes,I did actually took a nap there...The aircond is cool compared to the hot Kampar...After Red Box,we went to watch Friday the 13th...It's quite a nice movie and Angeline and Tennee was like keep closing their eyes when the scary part came...

Went to window shop and while in S&J,some stuffs caught my eyes...It was those Death Note figurines and Stich soft toy...After considering and consulting for awhile,I decided to buy the Death Note figurines...There are 4 there and Angeline said that she saw a few other more at Ipoh there...These figurines comes with some accesories where you can change...Sort of barbie doll type lol!!!

The bags the goods are in...Looks like spending spree isn't it?

Death Note's God of Death isn't it?It comes with his favourite apple too!!!

Misa Amani...Also comes with a briefcase and a small size doll with 3 expression faces...

Most of the fan's favourite,L...Comes with a chair,a body that squats down,a right hand that shows his trademark on how to handle a phone and also 3 expression faces too...

Light Yagami...Comes with hand cuffs, the Death Note book on his hand and 2 pens and also not to mention the 3 types of expression faces...

The 4 sets that I had bought in 1 shot....

Total cost?RM 200 which is quite expensive but heck,I planned to buy these to be kept for collection...As what Angeline said, she said that she saw Watari at Ipoh there...Gonna try my luck if I happen to be at Ipoh then...

As soon as we reached Penang...

First stop, steamboat and bbq at Nagor Road...The beef is nice and there is quite a varity of food too..RM 20 per person and what's more, free flow!!!Plus the boss on that day must be very happy because there were 6 of us and only 5 actually eats...The boss told the girl that did not eat that she can have free drinks too...Just as long as we are happy...Haha...so good of the boss...Had steamboat for dinner and it's abit late due to some incident happened when we was on the way back...Too lazy to talk about that...But it nearly got us into accident...After dinner,Tennee fetched us back and reach home at 12 something...

Life after exam...

Man,it feels so good after finishing my last paper on Thursday. It wasn't so hard but still not so easy either.Went for steamboat at Oldtown with the cunning peoples again.Didn't managed to meet up with Cunning Rabbit so couldn't asked her to go out with us...Swt...Steamboat for lunch..First time for me,how about you?We took the package of RM 100 and I managed to cheat Li Mei that we took the RM 200 package...haha...How evil am I?Food wasn't that good thou...I miss the steamboat back at my hometown which is in Nagor Road. That's a free for all steamboat for around RM18 per person I think.Pictures won't be upload fully so fast as I'm still deciding wheter to post up the pictures or not. Some gave me the impressions that they don't want their face to be up on the internet lulz

Ah ngau was giving speech I think..or is it she was too excited while waiting for the food?

A close up shot on Cunning Cow...See la...I where got bluff you...See how fired up she was while talking...

Cunning Hedgehog was waiting for me to take her photos..Nah,just joking...She saw I was holding the phone and thus a pose for me to take...

Still having a few pictures to upload but until I consider all the option,I won't upload it due to some technical problems *cough*bullshit*cough*

After my last paper,I had fun in teasing my other housemates. They finish their exam on Monday. Still did not pack things up.Last minute person tsk tsk...

Cook dinner together with Angeline yesterday. We were lazy to go out so suddenly Angeline came up with the idea of cooking chezzy meatballs. So off we go to TESCO,our only source of entertainment lulz...Decided to cook instant soup, scramble eggs and chezzy meatballs but in the end changed chezzy meatballs to black pepper chicken sold in Tesco.Ended up that we couldn't finish all the food..Wasted..Still,the instant soup turns out to be not bad..Did I mentioned I was abit crazy few days ago and went ahead to buy a bar of TESCO chocolate...After having a few bites,it doesn't taste that bad...It was sweeter that Cadbury's...

Girls becareful especially after you took in your laundries...

Saw this in youtube...

Wtf...How sick can a person be?

4th Final paper down...

Went to Pizzahut 2 days ago.The pizza wasn't so nice. And I'm lazy to post the pictures of it as there is another 2 bloggers who happens to be my housemates already did blog about it.So today I finished my 4th paper which is the Malaysia:Cultural and Relegious Practices. It wasn't so hard compared to what I think of.Thanks to the tips,I managed to answer all the 4 essays but time is so limited. And managing to answer the questions doesn't mean I'm gonna so ace that subject isn't it?

Had my lunch with the cunning family just now.We had lunch at the coffeeshop which is opposite of ABC.The coffeeshop name is "Long Fong Kok" I think. The chicken rice was the best I can find in Kampar.Do drop me a comment if you think there is a better one =p

Forgotten to take pictures during lunch today. Those that are present are Li Mei and her handsome BF,Siong Chi,Hsu Wai,Jia Ying,Angeline and me.Had our usual gossip session and somehow we went off topic few times.

Last paper would be on this Thursday. And before I forgot,I'm going to hope Arsenal beat Manchester United later at night.Nothing is more satisfied than beating Manchester at Emirates Stadium.Until then, cyaz.

Introduction from the Author

Well,my name's Dae Mien and I'm currently studying in UTAR this year.In this blog,I'll write about my life experience and perhaps if I happen to be presented with nice foods,I'm going to blog about foods too =D
